Matthew B. Hanson

Matthew B. Hanson is the managing partner at Anderson Law, PLLC located in Nampa, Idaho. He has several years of criminal-defense experience. He has represented clients on cases both large and small. Matt graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He went on to study law at the University of Idaho. While earning his law degree, Matt served as an Editor on the Idaho Law Review and as a member of the National Moot Court Team. At National Moot Court Competition Matt was recognized for his debate skills. Matt was also a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing Department.
 

Matt began his criminal law training in the Criminal Division at the Idaho Office of the Attorney General. He went on to gain prosecution experience with the Boise City Attorney. In 2011, Matthew entered private practice as a defense lawyer. Having seen both sides of the criminal justice system, he is passionate about defending the accused.
 

Matt is a licensed member of the Idaho State Bar Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, the Idaho Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.

Reginald K. Holmquist

 

Reginald K. Holmquist is a University of Idaho College of Law graduate. His current practice consists of Criminal Defense, Family Law, execution of Living Wills, and Mediation.

While attending law school, he served as a limited-license attorney for the nationally recognized Idaho Legal Aid Clinic, and took first place in the Idaho College of Law Mediation Competition. He gained valuable experience by working on cases for Idaho Legal Aid and the Twin Falls County Public Defender's Office. He is certified with the Idaho State Supreme Court as a court-appointed Mediator.

Reginald received his bachelor's degree in political science (with an emphasis in Public Law and Political Philosophy) from Boise State University. He has substantial knowledge with regard to the intricacies of the Idaho Criminal Defense and Family Law system. He takes an integrity-based approach to the practice of law and is talented at resolving cases in a fair and equitable manner while making sure he gets the best results for his clients.

Ofelia Baez

 

Ofelia Baez was born in Zacatecas, Mexico and raised in Southern California.  Ofelia brings over 16 years of immigration legal experience to Anderson Law.

Prior to joining the firm in 2011, she worked as an immigration paralegal at another premier immigration firm for 10 years.  Mrs. Baez is responsible for assisting the attorney on case preparation and filing with USCIS and the Executive Office for Immigration Review. She has specialized expertise in Family-Based Immigration petitions, Naturalizations and Waivers.

She obtained a Certificate of Office Specialist from Webster Career College in Los Angeles, California.  Having spent years involved in the Hispanic Community, she is acutely aware of legal and social issues particular to the community.  She is familiar with many options available to immigration petitioners and is skilled at making the immigration process as simple and straightforward as possible. She is also a notary public.

Betty Esparza

 

Elizabeth “Betty” Esparza was born and raised in California and moved to Idaho with her family in 1998.  She has worked as a legal assistant/paralegal since 1995. Prior to moving to Idaho, Betty worked for Steiner & Libo Professional Law Corporation in Beverly Hills, California as a personal injury legal assistant.

 

She joined Anderson Law in December 2011 as criminal and immigration support to the late attorney Kirk Anderson.  She is now a paralegal in the areas of criminal, Nonimmigrant Visas for Victims of Violent Crimes (U Visas), Asylum, Administrative Closures and Deferred Action for childhood arrivals cases. Betty is also a Notary Public since 2009.  

 

Prior to joining Anderson Law, Betty worked for a local law firm specializing in criminal defense, personal injury and workman’s compensation claims.  She graduated from the Brown Mackie Criminal Justice Program with honors. 

 

Dan Fusselman

 

Dan Fusselman was born in Boise, Idaho. He spent two years volunteering for a religious organization in the Hispanic Community in the greater Los Angeles area. During this time he worked with Latino immigrants and further developed his Spanish speaking ability.

 

He joined Anderson Law in December 2012 as the marketing manager. He organizes the firm's marketing activities, manages the website, designs marketing material, and serves as a liaison to potential clients. 

 

Prior to joining Anderson Law he's worked as a professional Spanish court interpreter and in other professional interpreter positions. He received his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Boise State in 2012 and interned for Matthew Hanson in the Spring of 2012.
